Asheville City Council To Hold Public Comment Meeting For City Budget

The Asheville City Council meeting will take public comments ahead of the budgeting process. The next meeting of the Asheville City Council will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, in the Council Chamber on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 70 Court Plaza.

The opportunity to provide public comment on the development of the Fiscal Year 27 budget is included on this week’s agenda. As we previously reported, the City’s 2027 budget faces a $30 million shortfall, and City leaders are considering raising taxes.
