Senior House Republican Leadership, Including Speaker Mike Johnson, Officially Endorse Jennifer Balkcom

Yesterday, the Senior Republican House Leadership team, including Speaker Johnson, Rep. Steve Scalise, Rep. Tom Emmer, and Rep. Lisa McClain officially endorsed Jennifer Balkcom for Congress. This is yet another signal that Republican leadership is quickly coalescing around Balkcom to defeat Democrat scion Jamie Ager in the Fall.  

In a joint statement, they said, “Jennifer Balkcom is an America First patriot who will help us continue to deliver safe streets, secure borders, a strong economy, and peace through strength. As a state representative and 8th-generation Western North Carolinian, Jennifer will bring her experience and values to Congress to protect girls' sports, support our farmers, cut burdensome regulations, and defend the principles that have made America the greatest nation on Earth. We are proud to ENDORSE Jennifer Balkcom for North Carolina's 11th District, and look forward to working with her to defend and grow our House Republican majority and CONTINUE our American comeback!”

Their strong leadership in Congress is helping advance our conservative agenda and their confidence in me means so much. I look forward to bringing our mountain values to Washington and helping grow our Republican majority.”
