Members of President Trump’s Cabinet Visit With North Carolina Farmers To Discuss Critical Issues

This week, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Acting Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling visited North Carolina farmers to discuss critical issues. They were joined by North Carolina leaders including North Carolina Agricultural Commissioner Steve Troxler, Labor Commissioner Luke Farley, and Republican Senate Candidate Michael Whatley.

Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and Department of Labor Acting Secretary Keith Sonderling visited David Parker Farms in New Bern, participated in a roundtable with Michael Whatley and agricultural leaders, and highlighted the Trump administration’s efforts to reduce costs, strengthen the workforce, and support North Carolina’s farmers and producers.

Acting Secretary Sonderling also visited Pitt Community College to see firsthand how North Carolina’s workforce training programs are preparing the next generation of skilled workers for careers in manufacturing and the trades.
