National Conservative Outlet Reports On Ethics Complaint Alleging Tax Evasion By Convicted Felon Mark Lynch, Who Is Running In the Republican Primary For US Senate

Within the last week, the Washington Reporter, a national conservative outlet, reported that Mark Lynch, a candidate in the Republican Primary challenging Trump-backed Sen. Lindsey Graham, refused to pay between $50,000 and $100,000 in federal taxes for the year 2025. The Reporter says that they exclusively viewed an ethics complaint calling for an immediate investigation. This comes after Lynch used $5 million of his own funds to prop up his campaign.

President Trump said, “Senator Lindsey Graham is working incredibly hard for the Great People of South Carolina, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2025. Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me, and always been there when I needed him… Senator Lindsey Graham has my Complete and total Endorsement for Re-Election.”

In contrast on Lynch, the President said, “Mark Lynch would be a DISASTER for the Republican Party.” The Republican Primary is tomorrow June 9th.

The tax evasion allegations are simply the latest chapter in a long story of scandal that follows Lynch:

  • Public records show that Lynch was convicted of cocaine possession.

  • Additionally, the criminal record shows that he was convicted for a hit and run, driving with a suspended license and negligent driving.

  • Lynch opposed President Trump’s cabinet nominees, and hired staff who openly posted anti-Semitic comments.
