National Nurses United Hold Protest To Pressure Companies To Stop Working With Federal Immigration Officials

Today, in Asheville, members of the National Nurses United joined a nationwide left-wing protest to pressure hospitals to stop using scheduling software for nurses. The progressive union complains that software company Palantir works with federal immigration officials to deport illegal aliens from the United States.

This is part of a national push by this union, targeting corporations to undermine federal operations. National Nurses United is a left-wing union that proudly supports far-left Democrats, and advocates for policies like Medicare-for-all and climate change. This protest is the latest example of the Democrat Socialist wing of the Democrat Party working to undermine the Trump Administration’s immigration agenda.

Notably, none of this truly applies to Mission Health in Asheville. The union complains about scheduling software developed by Palantir, but Mission Health does not use the software they are protesting. The union titled the protest “Palantir Out” but apparently, it is not even in use at Mission.

Notably, the union continues to mention concerns about staffing but declined to acknowledge Mission recently succeeded in exceeding its goal of hiring 90 nurses in 90 days. Hiring qualified nurses is a nationwide challenge, and maybe it would be helpful if the union focused on promoting the profession instead of left-wing politics.
