North Carolina Hospitality Alliance Announces Two New Chapters, Including WNC Branch
Today, the North Carolina Hospitality Alliance (NCHA) announced the creation of two new chapters: The Asheville Buncombe Hotel Association (ABHA) and the Forsyth County Hospitality Alliance (FCHA). The decision of these groups to united with the North Carolina Hospitality Alliance strengthens the statewide voice of the industry, while ensuring these local associations gain tools to better advocate at a local level.
“It is a pleasure to welcome these new chapters to the North Carolina Hospitality Alliance,” said NCHA Executive Director Jim Beley. “With new chapters in Western NC and the Triad region, our collective strength grows, allowing us to better serve hospitality providers across the state while ensuring local communities have a strong partner in Raleigh. We are especially grateful to Rick Bell, executive director of the ABHA, and Michelle Schroeder, president of the FCHA, for their commitment to advancing our shared mission.”
The NCHA is a statewide advocacy organization comprised of professional, private-sector hospitality providers bringing together the voices of the lodging, resort, and entertainment venues. The organization focuses on increasing and enhancing visitation to North Carolin, through effective policies and regulations. Hospitality industry goals often require cooperation with both the state and local governments, so Alliance wants to offer different organizations to achieve advocate effectively on in both spheres to bring people together.
ABHA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and promote the interests of the Asheville-area hotel community. They accomplish this mission in a variety of unique, impactful ways, which can be found on their website.
FCHA's mission is to create a positive impact on Forsyth County's economy through the promotion of travel and tourism.
