Republican National Committee Launches Midterm Operation, With Focus on North Carolina and Georgia
Today, the Republican National Committee announced the launch of a massive get out the voter operation to boost Republican candidates across the country, with a particular focus in key battleground states of North Carolina and Georgia. The initial investment exceeded seven figures and includes 34 staff, with many more states expected to be added.
“Republicans are building a battle-tested ground game and taking President Trump’s America First agenda directly to voters across Georgia and North Carolina,” said RNC Spokeswoman Emma Hall. “Voters know that Democrats like Jon Ossoff, Roy Cooper, and Don Davis have failed, and we’re doing the work to win in November.”
This is a critical move ahead of the 2026 midterm as Republicans work to boost turnout, during the traditional turnout dependent midterm election cycle. RNC Chairman Joe Gruters said, “The RNC is already building the ground game to win the midterms.”
This latest campaign finance reports show that the RNC has a seven to one fundraising advantage over their Democrat counterpart. In addition to lack luster fundraising, the DNC still has $17.4 million in debt mostly used to sustain operations as the Kamala Harris campaign struggled.
