Rick Jackson For Governor Announces Several Endorsements From Republicans

After his primary victory earlier this month, Republican Rick Jackson announced a unity ticket with the Republican Nominee for Senate Mike Collins and support from Governor Brian Kemp. This week, Jackson continued to demonstrate the continued unity within the Republican Party with endorsements from several prominent Republicans.

Agriculture Commission Tyler Harper endorsed Jackson saying, “The choice in this election could not be more clear: Rick Jackson is a true Georgia success story who worked his way from foster care to billionaire, giving back every step of the way; Crime Wave Keisha Lance Bottoms is a failed former mayor who embarrassed and abandoned our capital city. I’m proud to give Rick Jackson my complete and total endorsement, and I look forward to working together to protect Georgia farmers and Georgia families.”

Labor Commissioner Barbara River Holmes endorsed Jackson saying, “Congratulations to Rick Jackson on winning the Republican nomination for Governor! My family came to this country with almost nothing and built a better life through hard work, determination, and unyielding faith. So I know how to recognize that same grit in someone else. Rick grew up in foster care and built one of Georgia’s great companies from the ground up. He understands the Georgia workers and families who do everything right, but are still fighting to get ahead.”

She continued, “that’s everything Keisha Lance Bottoms is not. She turned her back on Atlanta after one disastrous term and ran to the Biden administration. She and the Democrat ticket would bring that same Washington agenda home to Georgia. Under Governor Kemp, we built the best economy in the country, and I’m proud to stand with Rick to protect it. Let’s go win this in November!”

Insurance Commissioner John King endorsed Jackson saying, “Rick Jackson came from nothing, built a wildly successful business, and created thousands of Georgia jobs. He never forgot where he came from and has spent years giving back. As our next governor, Rick will get the cost of healthcare down, fight for people who don’t have a voice, and keep Georgia moving in the right direction. I’m proud Rick Jackson is leading our ticket and he has my full support.”

Attorney General Chris Carr said, “A successful businessman, Rick has created thousands of jobs for the people of Georgia. Rick has also spent his career standing up for the most vulnerable — from lifting up those in our foster care system to supporting the men and women in uniform that keep Georgia’s communities safe. I will never forget that Keisha Lance Bottoms let Atlanta burn, shut down businesses during the pandemic, and quit on the people of Atlanta. That’s not leadership, and Georgians deserve better.”

He continued, “’m proud to support Rick Jackson as our next Governor. He will continue to grow jobs and make life more affordable for all Georgians, protect every community in Georgia, and keep our state the best place to live, work and raise a family.”
