President Trump Visits North Carolina To Campaign For Republicans, Including Michael Whatley For Senate
Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump visited Gastonia to campaign for Republicans by highlighting the accomplishments of the America First Agenda and the stakes of this election. Michael Whatley, Laurie Buckhout and Jennifer Balkcom joined President Trump on stage, promising to always fight for North Carolina.
Here are some highlights from President Trump and other Republicans at the rally:
On putting more money in North Carolinians’ pockets: “Here in North Carolina, we've created more than 80,000 jobs and more Americans are working today than ever before. Real incomes have soared to the highest level in history ... surpassing the record I set in my first term. We lifted 1.5 million people out of poverty last year.”
On making America safe again: “For years, pro-crime politicians have tried to bully you into silence while they turned your cities into blood-soaked killing fields and flooded your communities with migrant criminals … but those days are OVER. President Trump and Republicans are Making America SAFE Again … and we are NEVER going back to the disaster we had just two years ago.”
On delivering the most secure border in history: “We inherited the worst border in U.S. history … and we quickly turned it into the most secure border in the history of our country. In the past 16 months, zero illegals have been admitted into the United States.”
On soft-on-crime Democrat Roy Cooper: "We’re going to defeat the murderer and criminal protector...the man who made North Carolina the talk of our country. The whole country’s talking about it for its violent crime. The radical Left Democrat, Roy Cooper."
On the clear choice this November: "You can either vote for Roy Cooper to set loose criminals who rape and murder your children...Or you can vote for Michael Whatley to protect and defend your children...Michael Whatley is the candidate of LAW AND ORDER."
Michael Whatley made a promise to North Carolinians: "I’m running for Senate because I want every one of your kids, and every one of your grandkids, to live the American dream...I am excited about fighting for North Carolina...alongside the greatest president of our lifetime, Donald Trump."
Laurie Buckhout slammed Do-Nothing Don Davis: "When I was fighting in Iraq, Don Davis was just beginning his 25-year stint as a political professional...He's done nothing for this district. We call him 'Do Nothing Don.'"
Jennifer Balkcom thanked President Trump for putting America First: "Mr. President, thank you for closing our borders. Thank you for keeping us safe. Thank you, most personally, for keeping boys and men OUT of women's sports...for protecting our kids from mutilation...for what you’ve done for small businesses."
