UNC Asheville Announces Update To New Signage For Campus

This week, the University of North Carolina Asheville announced its update on its signage project. This week, work began on the previously announced campus gateways project, which will create more visible and welcoming entry points for students, employees, visitors, and the broader community, while strengthening the visual identity of the University. The new signage will be installed: 

  • at the southeast corner of W.T. Weaver Boulevard and Broadway; 

  • at the southwest corner of W.T. Weaver Boulevard and Merrimon Avenue; 

  • at the W.T. Weaver Boulevard roundabout. 

Surveying for the campus gateway project has begun, and tree and shrub removal will occur at the southeast corner of W.T. Weaver Boulevard and Broadway and the southwest corner of W.T. Weaver Boulevard and Merrimon Avenue. New tree and shrub plantings will be incorporated as part of the completed project.
