U.S. Forge Rings Announce Major Project in North Carolina

Last week, US Forged Rings, a major manufacturer of specialty steel products, announced plans for a major production facility in Hertford County. The company has three phases and plans to invest $875 million and estimates that 625 new full-time jobs will be created.

“This investment into the first two phases of our Hertford County, North Carolina facility will bring good paying jobs back to America, substitute imports, lower dependency on foreign suppliers, increase the resilience of the US economy, and help lower uncertainty in the costs and timing of building power plants and other critical infrastructure that the country very much needs,” said USFR’s CEO & President, Giacomo Sozzi.

US Forged Rights has a strategic partnership with Nucor and the new facility will be adject to Nucor Steel’s Hertford County steel processing facility.
