US. News and World Reports Names Mission Hospital The Seventh Best In North Carolina

U.S. News and Reports evaluated 135 hospitals across North Carolina. Only 19 hospitals in North Carolina met the high standards to be recognized as a Best Regional Hospital; Mission Hospital-Asheville was recognized as the seventh best in the state.  

 

The data used by U.S. News and World Report included data Mission’s Children’s Hospital and Mission Hospital- St. Joseph’s campus. Mission received strong scores for the wide variety of procedures that can performed at the hospital, which is key reason it was rated higher than the surrounding hospitals in the mountain region.
