USDA Launches $221 Million Effort To Help Farmers Impacted By Helene
Last week, The U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Stephen Alexander Vaden and N.C. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler announced historic assistance package to help farmers recover from Hurricane Helene. The block grant agreement between the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (CNDA&CS) will distribute $221.2 million in recovery assistance to eligible farmers.
