Veterans Day Celebrations Across Western North Carolina

Here is a list of Veterans Day Ceremonies being held this Veterans Day, November 11th, 2025.  

Buncombe County: Veterans Day Ceremony: 
All community members, families, and friends are welcome to the Veterans Day Ceremony at the Charles George VA Medical Center. Participants will pay tribute to veterans, reflect on their service, and express our gratitude for their sacrifices in defense of our freedoms.

Time: 11a.m. - noon 
Location: Charles George VA Medical Center - 1100 Tunnel Rd, Asheville 

Madison County: Veteran Day Ceremony: 

Join our neighbors honoring our veterans in Marshall on the Courthouse lawn on November 11th at 11 a.m.  

 
Clay County: Veterans Day Ceremony: 

Please come to the Caly County Veterans Park Tuesday at 11a.m. to honor our Military Veterans.  

Graham County: Veterans Cook Out 

Free Veterans Day Cook Out: Legion Hall. All Graham County Veterans and their spouses are invited to 113 Moose Branch Road, Robbinsville, NC. Noon Tuesday.  

Watauga County: High Country Veterans Day Celebrations 2025 

November 11, 11am, Boone Mall, Boone 

The ceremony will include participation of the Watauga Community Band offering a prelude concert commencing at 10:30. At 11:00, Watauga High School Marine Corps JROTC Color Guard will present the Colors. The Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and Invocation will follow with brief remarks honoring those who have served our Nation.
