Michael Whatley Holds Protect Our Kids Press Conference In Chatham County

Last week, Republican nominee for the United States Senate, Michael Whatley, held a Protect Our Kids press conference in Chatham County. At the press conference, Whatley highlighted his Democrat opponent’s failure of letting transgender men into women’s bathrooms and sports. Cooper has a record of vetoing legislation to ban these men from playing in girls sports and being in their locker rooms, along with his vetoes of legislation to prohibit transgender mutilation surgeries for children and the Parents Bill of Rights. 

“Roy Cooper abandoned our families in favor of the woke mob. He stood for men in girls sports, supported transgender mutilation of our kids, and vetoed the Parents Bill of Rights. Why? Cooper is a disgrace. As your next Senator, I will always put our FAMILIES FIRST and protect our kids from the radical far-left policies of extremists like Roy Cooper,” said Michael Whatley.
