After primary victory, President Trump Formally Endorses Laurie Buckhout For Congress
Yesterday, President Donald Trump officially endorsed retired Colonel Laurie Buckhout after her primary victory earlier this month.

“It is my Great Honor to endorse Colonel Laurie Buckhout, who is running to represent the incredible people of North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District.”
“Laurie is running against a Radical Left Democrat named Don Davis, who tried to raise Taxes by over $4 Trillion Dollars, and voted against all of our Tax Cuts, including NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY, and NO TAX ON OVERTIME. Don Davis wants to abolish our Borders, stop deporting Criminal Illegal Aliens, and supports dangerous “Soft on Crime” Policies like cashless bail that let repeat Violent Criminals roam free on our streets. He voted to allow men in women’s sports, is in favor of the transgender mutilation of children, and voted AGAINST Voter I.D., but in favor of allowing Illegal Aliens to vote in our Sacred Elections. He is Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous!”

With the General Election underway, the Republican National Committee began highlighting Davis’s record that is in line with Biden, not North Carolina.
Here are some of the key votes where Davis differs from his district.
Voted against border security.
Opposed funding for border patrol agents.
Helped Democrats shut down the government for 43 days in an attempt to secure taxpayer-funded health care for illegals, leaving border patrol on the frontlines without pay.
Criticized the men and women removing the worst of the worst criminal illegals from North Carolina communities, including murderers, rapists, and drug traffickers.
“North Carolinians don’t believe Don Davis’ lies because they’ve seen his radical and dangerous record in action. Laurie Buckhout will send Davis packing and work with President Trump to secure the border, support our brave Border Patrol agents, and put the safety and security of Americans first,” said RNC Spokeswoman Emma Hall.
