Democrat Annie Andrews Remained Silent On Platner Until He Became A Major Political Liability
On Monday, Politico released the latest bombshell report about Graham Platner, the Democrat nominee for the Maine Senate race. This report recounted allegations from a liberal leaning woman who shared her story about Graham Platner allegedly sexually assaulting her. In the context of this story, Dr. Annie Andrews, the Democrat nominee for the South Carolina Senate race challenging Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, posted “believe women” and “elect more women.” Notably, most national Democrat “leaders” are directly calling on Platner to drop out.
However, when the New York Times reported on serious assault allegations from multiple women, Dr. Annie Andrews was tweeting her victory in the primary and the supposed controversy about the reflecting pool. Unclear why Andrews was not posting in support of a conservative-leaning woman who shared her account of abuse.
