Asheville Regional Airport Announces Additional Parking Options
This week, Asheville Regional Airport announced additional parking options as passenger demand for the airport continues to grow.
A major milestone came on July 23 with the opening of the new Sheetz location on airport property, located directly across from the AVL's main entrance. In addition to providing fuel, food, and convenience services, the project also created 200 new parking spaces in Shuttle Lot B.
Here are further details about travel at the airport:
Shuttle Lot C (Phase 1) opens in the coming weeks with more than 220 additional parking spaces.
Shuttle Lot C (Phase 2) opens in December, adding 530 more parking spaces.
Both shuttle lots feature continuous shuttle service from covered waiting areas directly to the terminal's front curb.
AVL has launched several new online tools to make travel planning even more convenient:
Track your parking shuttle in real time. Passengers can track AVL Parking Shuttles through the Passio GO! app or any web browser. QR codes and instructions are posted at shuttle stops and throughout the airport.
Plan your parking before you arrive. The updated parking feature on the flyavl.com homepage now provides important information for each of AVL's parking options, including pricing, walking times, lot capacity, EV charging availability, live shuttle tracking links, and quick access to maps.
