National Outlet Exposes Sen. Ossoff Taking Credit For The Benefits Of Military Legislation That He Voted Against
This week, Fox News reported on Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) taking credit for a military infrastructure bill that he ultimately voted against. Recently, Ossoff was highlighting federal legislation that provided for a new elementary school at Fort Benning, improved conditions at Fort Steward, and pay raises and improvements to Georgia’s foster care system.
However, when the legislation was making its way for final passage, Ossoff voted against it, as he followed Sen. Schumer’s lead in keeping the federal government shut down.
"Jon Ossoff consistently uses veterans as props. It's par for the course for Ossoff who uses Georgia as a personal stepping stone at every turn to advance his political ambitions," said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
