Chairman Michael Whatley Raised $5.1 Million In The Fourth Quarter of 2025
Yesterday, former RNC Chairman Michael Whatley announced that he raised $5.1 million for his campaign for the United States Senate. This brings his fundraising total up to $11 million raises to date, five months since his campaign launch. As the Blue Ridge Times reported, Whatley’s $6 million haul in the first quarter was the highest fundraising quarter for any Republican Senate campaign. Former Governor Roy Cooper, the likely Democrat nominee, has not released a fundraising update.
“I am incredible grateful for each and every donation to my campaign, said Michael Whatley. “The support for our campaign is a clear rebuke of Roy Cooper’s liberal agenda. North Carolinians are tired of his soft-on-crime policies, his sanctuary city agenda, his failures on public safety, and his loyalty to Washington Democrats over the people of this state. In the Senate, I will be a true America First partner to President Trump and deliver real results for North Carolina families.”
