Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette and Attorney General Alan Wilson Move Forward To Republican Runoff Election  

On Tuesday, South Carolina Republicans headed to the pulls for statewide contents. At the end of the night, it became clear that Lieutenant Governor Pamala Evette and Attorney General Alan Wilson would proceed to Republican runoff election. The runoff election is on June 23rd.  

On her victory in the Republican primary, Trump-endorsed Lt. Gov. Evette said, “Our first-place finish proves conservatives want a Governor like President Donald Trump: a business owner and outsider, not a career politician. That’s why President Trump gave me his ‘complete and total endorsement. His support will fuel our momentum right into the next election.” 

 

On his success in making it to the run off, Wilson said, “My message to all of South Carolina in this runoff is simple: no matter who you supported in the first round, there is a place for you in this campaign.  As Governor, I will fight every day to make our state more affordable for families, more profitable for businesses, and more accountable to you. I would be honored to earn your support.”
