National Republicans Release Initial Digital Ad Against Cooper
This morning the National Republican Senatorial Committee released a new digital ad called “Roy’s a Yes to the Left.” This ad hit Cooper for his long track record of siding with progressives over North Carolinians. The ad comes after reporting that Cooper plans to enter the race for the North Carolina Senate seat. The Senate contest in North Carolina is expected to be the most expensive race in American history.
"Roy Cooper has been a tireless advocate for progressive causes like forcing women to compete against males in sports, raising taxes on North Carolinian families, and releasing illegal aliens onto North Carolina streets," said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. "Cooper is so committed to the Democrat cause that he is willing to embrace the radical left and join the long list of Democrat governors who lost their bids for the U.S. Senate."
NRSC supports Chairman Michael Whatley
After President Trump gave his “complete” endorsement for RNC Chairman Michael Whatley to run for Senate. The Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman Sen. Tim Scott released the following statement about Whatley’s candidacy.
Sen. Tim Scott said, “Michael Whatley is a strong America First conservative who will be a champion for North Carolina in the U.S. Senate. The Tar Heel State has supported President Trump in all three of his elections and elected Republicans to both its U.S. Senate seats for over a decade. With Michael as our candidate, we will win it again in 2026!"
