NC Democrat Chair Anderson Clayton Tells Former Green Beret Congressman To ‘Shut The F*** Up’ About Concerns Relate To Political Violence
On Wednesday, Congressman Pat Harrigan (R) commended the University of North Carolina’s decision place a profession with ties to a far-left extremist group on administrative leave. According to the New York Post, the UNC Chapel Hill placed the professor on administrative leave after learning about his connection to the Redneck Revolt Gun Club that is described as a “far-left group” that “stands against capitalism and the concept of the nation-state, including its symbols such as police, prisons, and courts. In 2017, Dixon rallied with far-left demonstrators in Durham in anti-KKK event, where Dixon was armed and was accused of blocking roadways with a semi-automatic rifle.
Given the current political climate, this type of association raises serious concerns, and Congressman Harrigan speaks for the normal Americans, who do not want left wing radicals in positions of trust. In 2022, during his first run for Congress, Harrigan’s family house was fired upon with his children inside. The suspect was never caught, and his Democrat opponent stop running featuring Harrigan’s home. The criminal was never caught but given the context this might have been yet another example of left-wing violence, directly targeting Harrigan.
But across the aisle, Democrats have a different view. The Chair of the North Carolina Democrat Party, Anderson Clayton, responded to Congressman Harrigan by saying, “hey folks — it’s “tell pat harrigan to shut the fuck up” day! hope you’ll do it with me!” This post generated controversy, which led Anderson Clayton to double down on her statement.
Anderson plays an integral role in North Carolina Democrat politics, often speaking as a campaign surrogate for Governor Josh Stein and will likely heavily participate with Cooper’s senate campaign. Neither Stein nor Cooper condemned Clayton’s crass remarks.
"It's easy to see why Radical Left Democrats are losing. They have no ideas, no momentum, lose registered voters every week, and are hitting record-low approval ratings in polls," said NCGOP Communications Director Matt Mercer.
Tim’s Take: This is yet another example of legacy media bias. They simply ignored this story. Congressman Pat Harrigan is former Green Beret and combat veteran, who has made enormous personal sacrifices for this country. A professional political organizer telling him to shut up, is deeply offensive to the American Spirit up open debate. If a NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons said a similarly derogatory comment about a Democrat House Member, North Carolina media would be blasting this news. But since Anderson is a Democrat; they ignore the story.
