On June 27, The Whale Outpost Celebrates Four Years in Haw Creek with Old-Timey Jubilee
The Whale Outpost is turning four, and the Haw Creek neighborhood is invited to celebrate with an afternoon of music, games, treats, and community during the Fourth Anniversary Jubilee on Saturday, June 27, beginning at 4 p.m.
Inspired by the Outpost’s beloved old hardware store charm, the anniversary party will transform the space into a nostalgic gathering featuring live music from The Grass Owls String Band Duo, old-timey games, beer floats, and sweet treats from Sweet Treats AVL.
Since opening in 2022, The Whale Outpost has become a neighborhood gathering place known for its carefully curated beer and wine selection, welcoming atmosphere, and community-focused events. The anniversary celebration aims to reflect the spirit that has made the Outpost a Haw Creek staple.
