Yesterday, after RNC Chairman Michael Whatley officially launched his campaign for the U.S. Senate, Republicans across North Carolina and the United States proclaimed their endorsement. President Donald J. Trump, the leader of the Republican Party, already gave Whatley his “full and complete” endorsement.

U.S. Senator Ted Budd said, “I’m glad to see Chairman Whatley enter the race for U.S. Senate here in North Carolina. Michael knows our state well, and will fight for North Carolina families by securing the border, creating economic opportunity, and restoring common sense in Washington.”
Speaker Destin Hall said, “Chairman Whatley fought to keep our legislative majorities strong and led the charge on winning back the NC Supreme Court. With President Trump’s endorsement, he’s the conservative fighter we need to defend NC’s seat in the Senate. Let’s get to work.”
