Darline Graham and Ralph Norman Advance To Special Senate Runoff
Yesterday, South Carolina Republicans headed to the polls to select the replacement nominee for Senator Graham, who unexpectedly passed away in July. Sen. Darline Graham was appointed to fill her brother’s seat, secured 32.74% of the vote, and Congressman Ralph Norman secured a second-place finish with 24.6% of the vote. The remainder was split between eight other candidates.
Graham and Norman both advance to the August 25th runoff.
After the results of the runoff, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) officially endorsed Graham.
Graham entered this race at President Trump’s urging, after he gave her his complete and total endorsement.
