Rep. Virginia Foxx announces reelection campaign
Last Friday, Rep. Virginia Foxx announced her reelection campaign, coupled with an endorsement from President Donald J. Trump.
Here is what Foxx said about running for reelection:
“I don’t know about you, but I am definitely not tired of winning! I am pleased to announce that I will be running for reelection in the 2026 midterms to continue fighting for North Carolina’s Fifth Congressional District and President Trump’s America First agenda.”
“I am also honored to announce the first endorsement of my campaign… President Trump himself! With President Trump in the White House and Congressional Republicans maintaining their majorities after the midterm elections, the sky is the limit on what we can accomplish for the American People. I cannot wait to hit the campaign trail and keep this seat RED in 2026!”
Here is what Trump said about Foxx:
“Congresswoman Virginia Foxx is doing a tremendous job fighting for the people of North Carolina’s 5th Congressional District!”
“As Chair of the House Rules Committee, Virginia is working hard to Advance our America First Values, Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes, Secure the Border, Support our Brave Military and Veterans, and Protect and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.
“Virginia Foxx has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”
