Tennessee Ranked Ninth Best State For Business By CNBC

Last week, CNBC released its annual rankings of states for their business friendliness. 

Tennessee ranked ninth in  the study that evaluates several categories, including the economy, workforce, quality of life, and business friendliness. 

 

Here is where Tennessee ranked in several key categories in the study:  

  • Infrastructure: 6th, Grade A- 

  • Economy: 11th, Grade B 

  • Workforce: 7th, Grade B 

  • Technology & Innovation: 20th, Grade B- 

  • Education: 37th, Grade D+
