Georgia Ranked Seventh Best State For Business By CNBC

Last week, CNBC released its annual rankings of states for their business friendliness. 

Georgia ranked seventh in the study that evaluates several categories including the economy, workforce, quality of life, and business friendliness. 

 

Here is where Georgia  ranked in several key categories in the study:  

  • Infrastructure: 5th, A- 

  • Economy: 17th, Grade B- 

  • Workforce: 9th, Grade B 

  • Quality of Life: 46th, Grade F 

  • Cost of doing business: 11th, Grade B+ 

  • Technology & Innovation: 15th, Grade B+ 

  • Business Friendliness: 21st, Grade C+ 

  • Access to Capital: 8th, Grade A- 

  • Education: 13th, Grade B 

  • Cost of Living: 35th, Grade C-
