Virginia Ranked Third Best State For Business By CNBC

Last week, CNBC released its annual rankings of states for their business friendliness. 

Virginia ranked third in the study that evaluates several categories, including the economy, workforce, quality of life, and business friendliness. 

 

Here is where Virginia ranked in several key categories in the study:  

  • Infrastructure: 2nd, Grade A+ 

  • Economy: 23rd, Grade C 

  • Workforce: 10th, Grade B- 

  • Cost of doing business: 26th, Grade C+ 

  • Technology & Innovation: 6th, Grade A- 

  • Education: 5th, Grade A-
