Unlike Moderate Democrats, former Governor Roy Cooper Follows Sen. Schumers Lead In Refusing To Denounce Progressive With Nazi Tattoo Who Disparaged American Service Members
In Maine, a progressive candidate, Graham Platner, continues to dominate national headlines and is quickly becoming the face of the national Democratic Party, mostly through attention generated by controversy.
Platner had previously received scrutiny for his tattoo of a well-known Nazi symbol, attacks on active-duty service members in harm's way, and reprehensible rhetoric about rape victims. Over the last week, several national outlets have reported that Platner had several inappropriate texting relationships and posted explicit pictures on an app known as a “predator’s paradise” for “child exploitation.”
Notably, moderate Democrats have been actively distancing themselves from Graham Platner. Democrat Sen. John Fetterman from Pennsylvania called Platner a creep. Massachusetts Rep. Auchincloss said the Nazi tattoo was disqualifying.
Over the last week, Senate Democratic leadership met with Platner. After that meeting, Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer of New York proudly endorsed Platner. With vibes similar to North Carolina Governor Josh Stein’s general, dismal concerns about Platner.
The Blue Ridge Times asked former Governor Cooper’s campaign again if Cooper would denounce Graham Platner, and they declined to comment.
“It is unsurprising that Chuck Schumer’s puppet continues to stand by a clear left wing radical that has no respect for our veterans or the American people. Roy Cooper is so terrified of offending his far-left radical base that he still will not condemn the horrific actions of Graham Platner, even when more concerning news comes out each day. Whether it was vetoing the parents bill of rights, vetoing a bill to stop the transgender mutilation of children, or stop males from playing in girls sports, Roy Cooper has sided with these far-left radicals over our family’s time and time again,” said Whatley Spokesman DJ Griffin. “
Even more disturbing is Cooper’s lack of willingness to confront Platner about his behavior when the New York Times reported that several of Platner’s ex-girlfriends reported disturbing behavior, including twisting his ex-girlfriend's arm and trapping her in a room. Platner denied this allegation, similar to his denials about his nazi tattoo, which turned out to be false.
While the sexting scandal generated the emergency meeting of the Democrats, it is far from the only scandal plaguing Graham Platner. Here are some of the disqualifying things that have been reported on so far:
Has a Nazi tattoo.
Posts explicit pictures on “Kik” known as “predator’s paradise” for “child exploitation".
Says women should "act like an adult" to avoid rape.
Says “black people don’t tip”.
Calls all cops “pigs” and “bastards”.
Calls himself a communist and advocates for closer cooperation with China.
Mocks the idea of women reporting rape in the military.
Praises Hamas terrorists for murdering Israeli soldiers.
Slanders Republicans as “fascists.
Says he doesn’t love America anymore
Says violence with a gun is necessary
Supports men in girls’ sports
Smears the late U.S. Navy Seal and Sniper Chris Kyle
Says a U.S. soldier shot by the Taliban four times was a “dumb motherf****r who didn’t deserve to live”
There may yet be more to emerge as we draw closer to election day.
“The Democrats are rallying behind a morally bankrupt sexual deviant with a Nazi tattoo, and no one on the left seems willing to condemn him. Only a weak and spineless individual would look at Graham Platner's record and stay silent,” said RNC Spokeswoman Emma Hall.
A Whatley Campaign Spokesman added, “Roy Cooper has always been scared to condemn the anti-Semitic wing of his Democrat Party so it’s no surprise he will embrace a Democrat candidate with a Nazi tattoo. When Jewish students were being harassed on college campuses in North Carolina, Roy Cooper did nothing to criticize or stop that harassment. When pro-Hamas students were rioting and doing their damndest to burn American flags, Roy Cooper could have activated the NC Hwy Patrol or the NC National Guard to protect law-abiding students and our university, but Cooper chose to do nothing to stop the violence. Roy Cooper would no doubt love to have Graham Platner as a peer.”
