Here is a guide to firework shows across Western North Carolina this July 4th holiday.
Asheville: Independence Day Block Party
South Slope, Downtown Asheville.
Event festivities from 5:00pm – 10:00. Fireworks at 9:30pm.
Event highlights: live music marathon, KidZone, and all day drink and food truck specials.
Brevard: July 4th Celebration
Celebrations will start in downtown with a street festival featuring, fine arts showcase, live music, bicycle parade, and a hot dog eating contest from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Eventually the celebration will move to Brevard College for a concert and fireworks.
Bryson City: Freedom Fest
Sponsored by the Swain County Chamber of Commer, Brycon City will host Freedom Fest in Downtown Bryson City on Evertte Street. This free event will start at 8:00am, featuring a 5k race, live music all day long, a Kid Zone, and firework show at 10:00pm.
Cashiers: Firework Extravaganza
The Village Green’s annual Firework Extravaganza will take place on July 3rd on the Village Green Common’s Lawn. The event will be between 6:30pm and 10:00pm.
Sylva: July 4th Fireworks
There will be a free concert at Bridge Park in Sylva NC and children’s activities will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The organizers estimate that the fireworks will begin at 9:30pm.
Hendersonville: July 4th Celebration and Concerts
Hendersonville will host a July 4th Celebration in Downtown Hendersonville, starting at 5:00pm on Main Street. The event will feature: food trucks, kids fun zone, and live music. Fireworks go off at dusk.
