Genentech announces new project in Wake County, expected to create 400 jobs
San Francisco-based Genentech, a premier biotech leader, announced plans for a new Wake County project. The new project will support Roche and Genentech’s future portfolio of next-generation obesity medicines. Roche and Genentech currently operate 13 manufacturing and 15 research and development sites, employing over 25,000 people in eight different states. This project represents the company’s first East Coast manufacturing facility.
